• Member Videos

We have now enabled members to embed their own videos onto an article, meaning in short members now add their own YouTube videos to TTD-Gaming and an Administrator will activate them once they have cleared inspection. The task is very simple and straight forward and will ensure you aren't waiting for ages before your new video is in your video section.

Please follow this LINK to the forums where I have made an easy to follow, step by step guide on how to add your new videos. You must be logged in to TTD-Gaming.com AND already have a section in the Video Gallery for this to work.

• TTD-Gaming 2 Year Anniversary

Although technically it was last month (lol), it will be exactly 2 years since we created the TTD Steam Group on July 30th. There will be a rundown created of TTD's history on the website, kind of a timeline to show the clans growth and expansion onto other games etc. For all those who keep asking, there will be no awards given out on te 30th. They are called the "End Of Year" awards for a reason =P

May/June 2010

• XRAY ANTI Cheat

 To prepare members for playing in the ESL (and to avoid any inter clan confrontation) we have decided that every member of TTD who wishes to play inter clan training matches, or PCW's (Private Clan Wars) against other clans MUST sign up to, and install XAC (Xray Anti-Cheat).

(Please note, ESL does not use XAC however their version is very similar. ESL don't allow their anti-cheat to be used without an ESL match ID which is why we chose XAC for non league matches).

• Make sure you load XAC BEFORE you launch your game. You will hear a sound confirming XAC is running on you're current game. If you do not hear a sound, press ALT+ESC and check XAC. If it says "IDLE" your XAC is not working. Exit the game, exit XAC and relaunch in the correct order.

MINOR CHANGES

• New graphical components.

MAJOR CHANGES

• Fully Working Arcade

The arcade is back with no error messages what so ever (yey). We will also be maintaining the games better this time around, games which don't get played will be replaced (or low rated games) so please use the rating and comments to give us feedback.

• Updated Video Gallery

As before, each user in the video gallery can edit their video home page, however now each user has a dedicated secure upload directory to save their images etc. We have also added a comments section which is displayed at the bottom of all video pages.

• New Image Gallery

The new image gallery lacks the fancy slide-show element of the old one, but comes with a fair few new fancy additions. The comments, upload and rating system are fully functional and user friendly. Also any images uploaded will be displayed in the users profile, giving each user their own personal gallery.

• New Recruitment Section.

This area is the new way we will recruit people for the ttd gaming clans. Not only that, this area will show any positions available in the ttd ranked members category. If we need a clan leader/deputy  for a game or need some admins for our web services/servers this is where the applications can be made.

That's all the noticeable changes, the time has really been spent cleaning up all the HTML and CSS code so we have a valid XHTML/HTML and CSS certificates. If you notice any errors or have a suggestion please use the "Contact Webmaster" icons located on the video and profile sections of the website (anywhere you might need help). Any comments are welcome, critical or not.
